Mohican Getaway Program

Register for an upcoming Mohican Getaway event, and give yourself a great opportunity to explore the Mohican Outdoor Center in the scenic Delaware Water Gap, near Blairstown, NJ. Based here at the Center, the Mohican Getaway program offers relaxing and fun multi-day programs where you can socialize and experience the surrounding natural beauty both within and around the camp. Volunteer leaders typically host theme-based weekends, including Irish Dancing, Family Fun, Yoga, Digital Photography, New Members and Young Members. These low cost events are a great way to meet new friends, learn new skills, explore local hiking trails (including the famous Appalachian Trail!), or simply sit around a warm fire with your favorite book. One recent Mohican Weekend Getaway guest said… "Thank you so much for this weekend...It has opened up a world of new possibilities to me and my family!"

The Mohican Outdoor Center is located in the 70,000 acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area, only 90 minutes from New York City and 2 hours from Philadelphia. The center boasts a network of hiking trails that pass within 1/2 mile of the main lodge (including the Appalachian Trail, the Coppermine Trail, the Rattlesnake Swamp Trail and the Kaiser Trail), offering the hiker many options for both short and long trips in the area. It is also located on the shores of picturesque Catfish Pond, and canoes and kayaks are available for guest use. Lodging at Mohican is in cabins with bunkrooms that hold 4 to 18 people.
