Find a Pennsylvania State Park
DCNR website park finder. On page for each park, click on the "find us" tab to get location map, coordinates and interactive map with turn by turn directions. (Close the Map Manager dialog box when the map opens.)

Each of the links below will take you to a Google Maps page showing the location of a trailhead parking area. They aree grouped them into categories with the Appalachian Trail first. Groups are arranges from West to East, so AT ones should be pretty much in trail order. Google Earth users can use this Placemarkers (KLM) file.

Appalachian Trail
AT: Route 850 / State Game Lands Parking, Cove Mountain
Medium sized parking area, adjacent to AT. On south side of road.
AT: Duncannon Cove Mountain (alternate)
Small parking area, behind city recycling area. At end of road.
AT: East side of Susquehanna River
Large area, partially under the Route 22 and 322 bridge. Believe this is car pooling area on weekdays.
Medium sized area on level with footbridge over route 225. On east side of road.
Large area, on south side of road.
Extremely rough road leading to this parking area.
Medium sized parking area on south side of road. No overnight parking.
Access for Chinese Wall (Boxcar Rocks) and St. Anthony's Wilderness
Extremely limited roadside parking. Additional parking in adjacent park on other side of foot bridge.
Small parking area on west side of road.
Large parking area on east side of road.
AT: North side of State Game Lands-80
Large State Game Land parking area at end of rough, unpaved road. Has spurs leading to AT.
Large Parking area on east side of the road, and slightly south of the AT crossing of Route 183.
Medium sized parking area at end of road. Has multiple spurs leading to AT.
AT: Port Clinton, West Side of River
Parking area on railroad yard.
AT: Route 61/Port Clinton AT parking
Limited parking on both sides of small road, just east of route 61.
Roadside parking on both sides of Hawk Mountain road.
Large parking area on west side of road in large lot. Short road walk to AT.
Large parking area at end of road. Short road walk to AT. Has restrictions on overnight parking.
Access road is unpaved. Small parking area on west side of road. If you approach from south name is Jacksonville Snyders Road. From north it is Fort Franklin Road.
Medium sized parking area on east side of 309.
Large parking area on east side of road. Access road is unpaved.
Limited roadside parking on unpaved access road.
AT: Route 873, West side of Lehigh River
Small parking area on northwest side of road.
AT: Lehigh Gap, East Side of Lehigh River
Recently modified parking area. Access is off of Route 248.
Large parking area on west side of road. Parking is slightly south of AT.
Delps: Map below leads you to intersection, where Moser Road ends on Delps Road. There is an unpaved gameland road (not shown on map) heading north to a large parking area. The game land road is not well maintained and may be very bumpy. Parking at N40.80928 W07545133
Roadside parking, mostly on west side of road. Road paved on north side of AT, unpaved on south side.
Large parking area north of road. Has spur leading to AT.
Medium sized parking area on east side of road.
Small parking area on west side of road. Some additional roadside parking is available.
Large parking area at end of access road.
AT: Delaware Water Gap - Farview
Located on Old Mine Road, on side away from river. Has spur trail leading to AT (section 6) and Dunnfield Creek trails. Large parking area with adjacent Karamack parking area for overflow.
On river side of Old Mine Road. Large parking area with overflow. Restrooms in adjacent camp area are open April through December. Two spurs start here
On river side of Old Mine Road. Large parking area with a porta-potty in season. Spur leading to AT section 6.
Roadside parking. This is located on AT section 6.
Medium sized parking area on northeast side of road. Additional roadside parking on opposite side of road. Located between AT sections 5 and 6.
Large parking area on side road off of Route 636. Parking is in AT section 4, about 0.3 miles north of section 5.
Medium sized parking area on north side of road. In AT section 4
Restrooms and maps available at this office. Parking is limited to two hours. At intersection of AT sections 3 and 4.
Medium sized parking area on south side of road. At intersection of AT sections 3 and 4.
