Working to Protect and Conserve the Environment in the Greater Philadelphia Region
The Appalachian Mountain Club’s (AMC) mission is to foster the protection, enjoyment, and understanding of the outdoors. The AMC Delaware Valley Chapter (AMC-DV) works to support this mission throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Conservation is an integral component and includes stewardship of land, water, air, and trails.

AMC-DV supports conservation efforts and activities in a variety of ways throughout the year, from local advocacy efforts to hands-on events like habitat restoration, environment cleanups, and more. Our 4,500 local chapter members make all this possible: please consider joining AMC if you haven’t already. We’d also love to see you out at one of our local conservation events — everyone is welcome, you don’t have to be a member.
If you have questions, suggestions, or ideas, or to get involved please e-mail AMC-DV’s Conservation Co-Chairs.
