Every 5 years the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources completes a new Statewide Outdoor Recreation Plan, which guides where and how your PA State tax dollars allocated to recreation will be spent.
The DCNR has started work on the 2025-2029 plan and has set up an online survey where the public can share thoughts about their activities of choice and provide feedback about what is needed to enhance their recreation experience in Pennsylvania.
If you feel that your tax dollars should be spent on hiking trails and State Parks rather than, for example, on ATV trails, it is imperative that you make your voice heard by completing this survey:
